AmeriChoice?

Every year young people from local credit unions throughout Pennsylvania compete in regional chapters’ Youth Ambassador Contests. Every participant spends months writing and perfecting a speech on topics relating to credit unions, then performs their speech followed by a question and answer session before a panel of judges and members of the local credit union chapters. AmeriChoice FCU’s Marketing Specialist, Erika Solorzano, was awarded the role of Harrisburg Chapter of Credit Unions Youth Ambassador on November 10th. The Youth Ambassador joins the team of the Harrisburg Chapter of Credit Unions as an honorary board member, becoming more involved and representing AmeriChoice for a one year term in the role. In the competition, Erika was one of three contestants. She spoke about how credit unions have the flexibility to fit each and every person and answered impromptu questions about the credit union philosophy.

Erika will advance to the State Youth Ambassador Contest Finals in May 2016 at the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association’s Annual Convention located at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Pittsburgh, PA.
