MyChoice Teen Club gets an upgrade
As we head into fall, we’ve got some exciting things happening at AmeriChoice for our MyChoice and Dollar Dog members! We always look forward to sharing what’s happening with our members and wanted to update everyone about some exciting things our younger members have to look forward to as we head into the end of 2018.
One great thing about the updated MyChoice Teen Club is the reward card. Similar to our Dollar Dog Kids Club program, teens who make 10 deposits of $25 or more will receive a bonus (once per quarter). The incentive program will encourage teens to save and once they have a filled card, will have at least $250 in their account. Think about how accomplished you felt when you saved a significant amount of money at a young age. We want to make saving a good habit and encourage teens to use their accounts responsibly. First, we’ve recently updated our MyChoice Teen Club accounts to better suit today’s teen and their needs. We want to teach teens as much as we can about being financially responsible while they’re still young and are able to form good habits. Teaching teens the financial basics isn’t something taught in many schools, and AmeriChoice is happy to step in and teach those valuable lessons, either in the classroom or one of our branches.
We are also continuing our relationships with East Pennsboro High School and Cedar Cliff High School. If you have a child attending either school, let them know that they’re able to visit our school branches during specific times throughout the week. We will also have special events throughout the year at both locations.
We look forward to building relationships with our younger members, so they know that they can trust us with their financial questions and decisions.
And for the younger kids, and kids at heart we’ll have 2 special visits from Santa this year! Santa will be kicking off the holiday season on Saturday, December 1st from 11am-1pm at our Bumble Bee Hollow location and then he’ll be headed to our York office on Saturday, December 8th from 10am-12pm. Both visits are free and open to members and the community.
We will have games, activities and snacks, in addition to visits with Santa at both events. Children will have the opportunity to visit with Santa, let him know what’s on their holiday list and tell him if they’ve been naughty or nice (even though he already knows) and get a free souvenir photo (parents are also able to take photos with their own cameras).
If you are interested in opening an account for your child, please email us (marketing@americhoice.org) for more information.
