The days of frantically searching for your card when you’re checking out at the grocery store, or groggily paying for your morning coffee are over! 

We’re excited to share that AmeriChoice members can now use a variety of electronic ways to pay, including the popular Apple Pay and Samsung Pay with our digital wallet. 

Registering your AmeriChoice VISA debit or credit card is very easy, and once you do, you’ll be able to use your card at retailers that accept contactless payments (just look for the Apple Pay logo or the contactless payment icon, which looks like a sideways wifi symbol).

Similar to our contactless cards, you’ll hold your device a few inches from the card reader, wait for a beep or your device to buzz, and you’re good to go. 

Some stores may ask if you want cash back, to add a tip or gratuity to the total or to hit the “enter” button to complete the transaction, just like you would if you had swiped or used the chip.  When the transaction is complete, you’ll receive a notification in your digital wallet to let you know that the transaction has gone through. 

And, don’t worry– paying using your phone is safe!  In order to use digital wallet, you’ll need to use facial recognition, a fingerprint or input your phones passcode when you use it as an added layer of security.  However, if your card does have fraud, VISA has you covered.  In that event, please contact us and we can help you get that fixed. 

If you do a lot of online shopping, you’ll love digital wallet.  You can add to cart and checkout using your digital wallet, without having to type in your card number and all of the other information. 

Both the AmeriChoice VISA debit and credit cards can be added to your digital wallet and you can easily switch between the cards, just like you would with your traditional plastic cards in your wallet.
