At AmeriChoice, we are here for our members during the Government Shutdown. We understand that some members who are employees of the Federal Government have unique situations and may need access to their savings funds or relief on a loan payment.

During this shutdown, AmeriChoice will:

Waive Withdrawal Penalties- If you need early access to funds that you have saved in Holiday or Vacation Club accounts, or AmeriChoice certificates, you may withdraw your money before maturity to help get you through the shutdown.* And, AmeriChoice will waive the early withdrawal fee/penalty with proof of Federal Government employment.

Offer Skip-A-Pay on most AmeriChoice loans-As a Federal Government employee, you may qualify to take advantage of our skip-a-pay program on your AmeriChoice loan, even if you have skipped a payment within the last 12 months. **

Work with members on home loan payments-Please contact us if you believe you will need additional time to make your payment. At this time, we may be able to assist members who are Federal Government employees with an extension on these loans.

Continue to offer low rate lending options to members- including our VISA credit card, personal  loan, and home equity options. ***

Consider the following options to help secure your financial position during this difficult period:

-Transfer your high interest credit card balances to a low interest rate loan.

-Refinance higher rate auto and home loans in to lower rate options.

-Complete our Personal Financial Analysis to restructure your debt for lower monthly payments.

-Take advantage of our Card Cash program, which offers debit card cash rewards.

*Dividends that would have posted at maturity will be forfeited if you close your Holiday or Vacation Club early. Certificate dividends will be posted prior to making your withdrawal, and the Certificate will be closed.

**Interest will continue to accrue on your loan account during this time. Proof of Federal Government employment is required.
